Having held executive leadership roles at Lone Star College System and prior to that, University of Houston System for nearly 20 years made Marshall Schott one of the most capable figure to oversee the academic program development at Sampoerna Schools System. His expertise in STEAM education and global energy workforce has been acknowledged by the National Academies and helped to shape the higher education policy in the U.S.
Mustafa Guvercin is a seasoned educator within the Harmony Public Schools System, having been with them since the start in 2000. His wealth of experience allowed him to replicate the Harmony model in Oklahoma and Louisiana, the U.S. before joining us back in September 2015 and applying the highly impactful setup in Sampoerna Schools System.
Manoharan Karthigasu believes in harnessing technology to enhance teaching and learning experience. He does it by leading the curriculum development, training of teachers and technology integration in Sampoerna Academy classrooms. Bearing qualifications from leading institutions such as Apple and Google allowed him to share best practices in education and technology with ingenuity.
Before joining Sampoerna Academy, Ikbal Guvercin had assumed leadership roles in K-12 American schools and Early Childhood Programs for 15 years. She is a member of Key Communicators Group in Harris County Department of Education. With her European, Asian and American educational background, Ikbal Guvercin is excited to contribute to the success of teaching and learning at Sampoerna Academy.
Before joining Sampoerna Academy as a Curriculum Coordinator, Debbie Jones already had eight years of experience from serving Birdville ISD and Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD in Texas. Her 19 years teaching experience confirms her solid knowledge and expertise in teaching and learning. Committed to educational excellence, Debbie Jones is now sharing her passion for teaching and learning with Sampoerna Academy community.
Upon completion of her master study, Beatrice has been dedicating her knowledge and skill to teach and guide children. She led Apple Tree Pre-School in Medan, North Sumatra, as the principal for three years. With her passion and commitment in the field of education, Beatrice is now trusted to lead and develop Sampoerna Academy, ICON Campus in BSD City.
