Responsibilities:

The coordinator’s tasks include but not limited to developing and managing implementation of the curriculum, proposals and test designs; providing and/or arranging relevant PD for teachers; mentoring, coaching, evaluating, and managing teachers of respected fields; communicate with school administration, teachers, and SSS office throughout these implementations.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related fields; Masters Degree or certifications in Science, Curriculum, School Administration or relevant field is preferred
  • Five years of experience teaching Science in K-12 schools; preferably Cambridge or IB schools
  • with a minimum of three years working in a leadership capacity with curriculum, instruction and assessment across instructional levels
  • Knowledge of Cambridge/Singapore Curriculum - exposure to US curriculum is preferred
  • Sound and broad understanding of all science subjects for K-12 students

Responsibilities

  • Inform the school community, including administration, teachers, legal guardians and candidates about the learner profile and the mission of IB. 
  • Ensure that teachers, legal guardians and candidates understand the curriculum and assessment requirements of the Diploma Programme and what subjects will be offered by the school. 
  • Ensure that Diploma Programme subjects are scheduled so they meet the IB recommended number of teaching hours and provide maximum concurrency of learning for candidates. 
  •  Ensure that parents and candidates are provided with a copy of General regulations: Diploma Programme when candidates are enrolled in the programme. 
  • Publish an internal calendar of all due dates for the receipt/submission of candidates’ assessment material and other material/information required by the IB
  • Ensure that requirements for theory of knowledge are properly coordinated, and teachers of other IB subjects understand the nature and importance of this core requirement
  • Ensure that the programme of creativity, action and service (CAS) is properly coordinated and implemented according to current IB requirements. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in one of the IB DP subjects; Master Degree or advanced certifications are preferred
  • Possibly able teach the Theory Of Knowledge (TOK) or Extended Essay (EE) classes
  • 3-5 Years of IB DP teaching experience in her/his field
  • 3 years of IB DP coordinator experience at a reputable IB school
  • Sound understanding of IB programs and other International programs

Responsibilities

  • To conceptualize the broad goals of the school and plans accordingly to ensure that procedures and schedules are implemented to carry out the total school program.
  • To ensure that the school program is run on in compliance with schools SOP that is compatible with the legal, financial and organizational structure of the school system.
  • To provide activities which facilitate the professional growth of the school staff and enhance the quality of the instructional program.
  • To provide proper regular reports, work plan and performance measurement (KPI) to direct supervisor
  • Principal should be ready to accomplish any type of project asked by the Head of SA and/or to relocate to other SA project in order to achieve the vision and mission of SA.
     

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited education institution
  • Master degree in Education Leadership is preffered
  • Minimum of three 3 years successful experience as an administrator, Assistant Principal or Principal in an International School or similar
  • Teaching experience at School, STEAM related areas preffered International Curiculum experience
  • English competency - reading, writing and speaking
