June 2025 Internship: Real Industry Exposure at IKEA and BNPT
In June 2025, selected Grade 10 and 11 students from Sampoerna Academy Sentul campus participated in an exciting internship program at two major institutions:
- IKEA Indonesia
- BNPT (National Counter-Terrorism Agency)
The internship program aims to:
- Give students the opportunity to pursue and validate their interests
- Expose them to professional working environments
- Build real-world connections beyond the classroom
- Strengthen their personal portfolio for university preparation
Internship at IKEA: Exploring Business Functions in a Global Brand
At IKEA, students were placed in several departments to learn how a global retail business operates, including:
- Customer Relations
- Food Services
- Logistics
- Sales
This gave students the chance to observe workflows, shadow professionals, and understand how various departments work together to deliver world-class customer experiences.
Internship at BNPT: Strategic Thinking and Public Engagement
At BNPT, students took part in:
- Planning Division
- Public Relations & Social Media Division
They contributed to communications strategy and public campaigns, gaining insight into how government organizations function and how impactful messaging is developed and shared.
